Message from the Principal

Greetings
I am happy to be a part of the Institute of Advanced Study in Education (Autonomous), Saidapet, Chennai - 600015 formerly known as Teachers College, the first of its kind in Asia, an Institution par excellence which is in the yeoman service of preparing teachers for the past 168 years. It is evident from the historical records, the alumni and pioneers in the field of education who stand as the torchbearers of the institutions glory. The institution continues to serve the meritorious students from the whole of Tamil Nadu and students from other states who aspire to become dedicated teachers.

I take privilege in highlighting the curricular components that is kept updated inline to meet the competitive demands of the various government board examinations; rich human potential, the Faculty members of the institution; the infrastructural facilities of the institution, in specific the heritage buildings, the green campus, the ICT facilities and the institutional connectivity with other Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations stands as unique feature to prove the merit of the institution.

Once again I extend my hearty congratulations to all the stakeholders who are part of the institution’s continued service and I wish all the students, Great success in their career. Thankyou.
