STRATEGIC PLAN SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED
The one activity successfully implemented based on the strategic plan is the concept of Experiential learning duly introduced with the approval of Statutory bodies of the institution:
In the Pandemic situation the concept of Service Learning (on line and offline based on Pandemic situation) has been introduced whereby the Student teachers are trained to identify students in their immediate community and cater to their learning needs.
They teach any five need based skills to name a few, e-mail writing, banking skills or related to their subject base.
As the students are from different parts of rural Tamilnadu this became a productive and useful activity leading to satisfaction.
By this activity the students develop community orientation and develop sensitivity to local community.
They write a record of their experience with photographs of the teaching episodes.
They feel happy doing this service to the underprivileged in their immediate locality.
The student and teachers are very interested in this Service learning.
